Former Nazi Allowed to Remain in Canada

Helmut Oberlander, a 92-year-old man who has confessed to being a former Nazi death squad leader, won a court victory in Canada after the country has been trying to revoke his citizenship for decades. Oberlander contends that he was forced to act as a translator and never took part in any of the atrocities. The Canadian government has previously revoked his citizenship three times but they have all been overturned on appeals.
