Foster Friess Is in it for the Long Haul

Wealthy Rick Santorum backer—and Daily Caller benefactor—Foster Friess told ABC News Wednesday that he plans to support his candidate through the Republican National Convention in August. Lately, however, the Santorum campaign has been able to raise enough money on its own that Friess’s help isn't as badly needed as it perhaps was earlier on in the contest. “There is no sense in committing a lot of money if it’s not needed,” Friess acknowledged. “If money is needed I want to be helpful. That’s what I’ll say, but I won’t say to what extent.”
