Four Dead in Alaska Plane Crash

Four people are dead and six injured after a plane with at least 10 people on board crashed in southwest Alaska on Friday night. The Cessna 208, a single-engine plane, was heading for St. Mary’s from Bethel and was reported missing at about 7:30 p.m. The wreckage was found at about 8:30 p.m. near St. Mary’s. A spokeswoman for the Alaska State Troopers said that the extent of the injuries was unclear and the cause of the crash was not immediately known.
