Austria, Germany, and Czech Republic have record rainfall.

At least four people are dead and eight more are missing as torrential downpours hit central Europe, while Prague is on high alert that floodwaters could swamp the city. Main roads in the region have been closed and thousands of homes have been evacuated. Rail lines have been shut down, and electricity has been cut as a precaution. Underground stations in Prague were closed, businesses shuttered, and even animals from the city’s zoo were evacuated. Austria and Germany are also preparing for potential flooding.
