The NBA resumed COVID-19 testing last week in advance of teams reuniting for workouts and pre-season practices. Four dozen NBA players tested positive for COVID-19 as a result. According to the league, 546 players were tested the week of Nov. 24, making the positivity rate roughly 9 percent. All infected players were required to isolate. Team physicians will evaluate the players’ recovery and fitness to take the court following their stints in quarantine.
