Fox News has terminated the contracts of former House speaker Newt Gingrich and former senator Rick Santorum. The deadline for them to decide on presidential runs passed on May 1. The two contributors were suspended in March as they considered running for the White House, but the suspension left the option open for them to return to the network. The termination is considered another sign that Gingrich will run, as he has often cited business obligations as reasons for delaying his decision.
