Get ready to gleek out: 20th Century Fox TV and the company's film division will produce a three-dimensional movie version of Glee based on their tour. The studio plans to release the film, GLEE LIVE! 3-D!, directed by Fame’s Kevin Tancharoen, for a two-week engagment, opening Aug. 12. The series’ big-screen adaptation will feature 14 members of the cast including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, and Heather Morris. It’s the latest 3-D concert offering, following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never and Michael Jackson’s This Is It.
