The Pi Kappa Phi fraternity at North Carolina State University has been placed on interim suspension after a book containing “offensive and unacceptable” quotes and comments was found. The majority of the remarks were centered around rape and racism. “It will be short and painful, just like when I rape you,” one comment said. “If she’s hot enough, she doesn’t need a pulse,” said another. Finally, someone wrote: “That tree is so perfect for lynching.” The fraternity will not be allowed to participate in events or hold meetings until the investigation is resolved.
