French ISIS member Fabien Clain—the voice behind a recording claiming the terror group carried out the 2015 Paris attacks—was reportedly killed in Syria in an airstrike Wednesday, BBC News reports. Security sources reportedly told French media that Clain was killed in a U.S.-led coalition airstrike in Baghuz, but the coalition is reportedly still attempting to verify that Clain was killed. Clain's brother and fellow jihadist, Jean-Michel, was also reportedly seriously injured in the attack. French Defense Minister Florence Parly tweeted that it was “possible” Clain was killed in the attack. BBC reports that Clain is believed to have gone to Syria in 2015, the same year 130 people were killed in the Paris terror attacks.
