French President Francois Hollande is reportedly considering suing French tabloid Closer for running several pages of stories and photos on his alleged affair with actress Julie Gayet. Rumors about the pair have been making their run online throughout the year, and Gayet filed a complaint with prosecutors about the sites. In a statement issued personally, Hollande did not deny the allegation of the affair, but said he "like every other citizen has a right" to privacy, and is "looking into possible action, including legal action." Hollande’s official partner is journalist Valerie Trierweiler, who replaced his former wife and fellow politician Segolene Royal (mother of his four children).
