Flash floods from torrential rains along the French Riviera have killed at 16 people and left others missing, officials said Sunday. Cannes received over 7 inches of rain in a three hour period Saturday. President Hollande is set to visit the troubled area Sunday. The victims included three people at a retirement home and a person who died in a local campsite.
