Air-traffic controllers are on strike in France on Wednesday, demanding higher pensions and grounding hundreds of flights in the process. Flights affected include not only those to or from France, but also those going through French airspace. Airlines are advising customers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport. The strike was originally set to take place in late March, but was pushed back due to the Germanwings crash.
