After player's removal from Mexico game.

In one of the more bizarre episodes of the 2010 World Cup, Team France is refusing to take the field in defiance of teammate Nicolas Anelka’s rejection in last week’s match against Mexico. Anelka colorfully insulted his coach, Raymond Domenech, during half time, telling him to "F--- off, you dirty son of a whore." The pottymouth player refused to apologize and Domenech—who in the past has admitted that his team selection is influenced by astrology—sent him home. "To show our opposition to the decision taken [on Anelka], all the players decided not to take part in training," the team said in a statement.
