Freshly Pardoned Chrisleys Reunite After Their Release From Prison

PARTNERS IN CRIME

The reality TV stars are back together again after two years apart in different prisons.

Todd and Julie Chrisley reunited Thursday following their release from prison—having been incarcerated in different states—two days after receiving a full pardon from President Donald Trump. The Chrisley Knows Best couple’s daughter, Savannah Chrisley, posted a photo of her parents on her Instagram Story with an icon that read: “Reunited and it feels so good!” The president pardoned the reality TV couple during of a rapid-fire spree of more than two dozen such orders. Todd, 56, was serving a 12-year prison sentence in Florida and Julie, 52, a seven-year sentence in Kentucky following their 2022 conviction of tax evasion. A law firm representing the couple told CNN Wednesday that they were going to head back to their home in Nashville. Trump had earlier this week called Savannah to announce that her parents would be receiving full pardons, telling her that “I hear they’re terrific people, this should not have happened.” Savannah told NewsNation that the president added that “you guys don’t look like terrorists to me,” despite her parents not being charged on any count of terrorism. Hours later, Savannah posted videos of Todd on her Instagram Story as they drove home, keeping his face hidden.
