A friend of the shooters in the San Bernardino terror attack had ties to a "group of jihadists" that wanted to fight alongside al Qaeda in Afghanistan, according to court documents. Enrique Marquez Jr. is accused of providing Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, with weapons that the couple used in the attack last December that killed 14 people. While prosecutors believe Marquez and Farook had planned earlier attacks that were later scrapped, Marquez did not help Farook and Malik carry out this specific attack, the prosecutors say.
