Gabby Makes The Rounds: The Olympian appeared to be very smiley on Thursday as she threw out the first pitch for the Mets at Citi Field. Her hair, the world might want to know, was not in a bun. (The work, perhaps, of Ted Gibson?)

Poor Queen Elizabeth: It was only a matter of time: following the royal nudie scandal of the week, the people at Playgirl magazine want Prince Harry to pose for them -- and, while the offer would start in the six-figure range, the publisher says, "I think a million dollars is not out of the question." As The Daily Beast's Tom Sykes says, "Hang on...six figures? As in under a million dollars. I mean, double forget it folks." (E! Online)

In The Box: Call it revenge: Katie Holmes is officially down on the fashion week calendar for September 9, having just confirmed a venue for her label, Holmes & Yang’s first fashion show. The duo will stage a presentation at the Lincoln Center tents in ‘The Box,’ a specialized space intended for presentations rather than runway shows. And now she won't go head to head with Victoria Beckham, as previously reported. [Vogue UK]

Rive Gauche: Catherine Deneuve will help famed Parisian department store Le Bon Marché celebrate its 160th birthday this fall by collaborating on window displays and creating a documentary with famed director Loic Prigent. The windows will pinpoint some of Deneuve’s favorite Left Bank locations and will feature 3-d illustrations of her in ‘humorous situations.’ [WWD]

Shoe Shine: Designer Roland Mouret, a celebrity favorite, has written an essay for the Telegraph about his love of shoes and new gig as creative director of Robert Clergerie. “Take it from me: beautiful shoes are better for your marriage than any lover,” he instructs readers. [Telegraph]
