Galifianakis Smokes Pot on Bill Maher Show

To prove a point about Prop. 19.

It's a rare sight to see a guest be allowed to whip out a joint and light up during a talk show. That’s exactly what Zach Galifianakis did Friday night on Bill Maher’s Real Time when they broached the controversial topic of Proposition 19, which would effectively legalize marijuana in California. Galifianakis, who presumably supports it, tried to dispel the taboo around smoking marijuana by pulling a joint out of his pocket and proceeding to smoke it to wild applause. He passed it to some of the other panelists to confirm that it was in fact marijuana and not a television prop. Galifianakis was trying to prove that people could smoke and still act like rational human beings.
