HBO’s fantasy saga Game of Thrones and comedy Veep swept the Emmy Awards on Sunday, with Thrones becoming the most honored prime-time TV series in history with a cumulative 38 trophies. The show bested Frasier by one award after it claimed 12 honors on Sunday in Los Angeles. Veep nabbed the award for best comedy series. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the show’s star, grabbed her own sixth Emmy as best comedy actress. For drama awards, Rami Malek of Mr. Robot and Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black both earned trophies.
