Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson is throwing his weight behind Ron Paul, urging his supporters to caucus for the candidate this Tuesday. Johnson's own bid for the nomination never got off the ground, and he announced Wednesday that he would instead try to get nominated as a Libertarian. Johnson supported Paul in his 2008 presidential bid. Other Republican candidates might not get any such generosity from Paul, should he lose the nomination. He told Bloomberg News last night that if he loses, he wouldn't endorse his rivals unless they adopted some of his positions.
