According to the Orange County medical examiner, 2-year-old Lane Graves died of traumatic injuries and drowning after being snatched away from his family by an alligator Tuesday evening at Walt Disney World. Graves’s body was found “intact” nearly 18 hours after disappearing into the lagoon outside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
