It’s a quick start to the week for the marriage-equality fight. Yesterday, the ACLU filed a suit in Wisconsin, and now today a U.S. district judge will begin considering a reversal of Virginia’s gay-marriage ban. The case is on a fast track and has added celebrity lawyers Theodore B. Olson and David Boies, who helped overturn California’s Proposition 8. Depending on Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen’s decision, the case could be on its way to the Supreme Court. In addition, last Friday four lesbians brought a class-action lawsuit against the Old Dominion for denying equal rights to same-sex couples.
