Real mature, boys. The Boy Scouts of America revoked the charter of an official troop because it refused to fire its gay scoutmaster. The Seattle-based troop with 15 members is an affiliate of a Methodist church whose leadership refused to fire Geoffrey McGrath after the BSA ordered his dismissal. McGrath spoke about his sexual orientation in a local news article about the troop. Last year, the overseeing body approved entry for gay scouts, but not gay scout leaders.
