Gen. Michael Flynn, the former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and a previous vice-presidential prospect for Donald Trump, retweeted a tweet Sunday with an anti-Semitic message. “Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore,” the last line of the tweet read with a link to a video clip of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook discussing the recent leak of Democratic National Committee emails. Flynn manually retweeted it with the line: “The corrupt Democratic machine will do and say anything to get #NeverHillary into power. This is a new low.”

Here’s another recent tweet from the same account:

Flynn did not immediately respond to a direct message about the tweet and whether he was aware of its origins. The Twitter user has yet to respond as well.
He quickly apologized for the mistake and clarified that he only meant to retweet the video and not the attached message.
All, this is what was meant to be retweeted...the earlier retweet was a mistake. My sincerest apologies. https://t.co/0s1OqEC3gr
