We take it he won’t be casting himself in the lead this time: British comedian Ricky Gervais and his writing partner Stephen Merchant are writing a new 30-minute comedy for BBC2 about an actor with dwarfism. Life’s Too Short will star Warwick Davis, who has acted in the Harry Potter and Star Wars films, and will feature occasional appearances by Gervais and Merchant. The show is also being developed for HBO in the U.S.
