Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin’s wife allegedly tried to pay a hitman to kill him, TMZ reported. Victoria Goodwin, was arrested and charged for solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to murder last week. In his show, Goodwin investigates paranormal activity but it would seem like his wife’s plans, which allegedly involved enlisting a Florida prison inmate to kill Goodwin, would have spooked even him. According to police records, the 32-year-old had been messaging the inmate since Oct. 2024 and wrote: “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” She allegedly offered $11,515 to get the job done and shared her husband’s location with the inmate who would pass on that information to a hitman. Meanwhile, the 48-year-old paranormal investigator was allegedly filming his show in California when the hit was supposed to go down. “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?” the inmate texted the hitman. The police stumbled upon the murder-to-hire scheme when an officer confiscated the Florida inmate’s phone as contraband. Although it is unclear what happened to the hitman, the police reported that Victoria Goodwin made a down payment of $2,500 although she denies ever wanting him dead. She allegedly told investigators that despite her marital troubles, she was merely “daydreaming or fantasizing about being without her husband” and that she had no recollection of sending the murderous messages. Still, she was arrested in Nevada on March 6 and is being held on $100,000 bail according to Clark County jail records.
