It may be one of Republicans’ chief legislative efforts, but the White House isn’t sweating the wholesale health-care repeal that the House is currently touting. “I don’t think it’s going anywhere,” said press secretary Robert Gibbs, saying that it “isn’t a serious legislative effort.” The House, led by Republicans, is expected to pass the measure on Wednesday anyway, but it will head to near-certain defeat in Senate; President Obama could veto the measure even if it did pass both chambers.
