White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said on Friday that the U.S. will review its aid to Egypt. “We will be reviewing our assistance posture based on events that take place in the coming days,” Gibbs said. The press conference was otherwise uneventful, with Gibbs working very carefully to dodge reporters’ questions. He also said that President Obama has not spoken to President Mubarak.
