Could the White House gang continue to break up? White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs wouldn’t rule out becoming chairman of the Democratic National Committee, a job many party leaders are eyeing him for. Gibbs insisted he loves his job, and hasn’t had any conversations about the possible new gig, which he would begin as President Obama readied for the 2012 election campaign. But despite repeated questions on the subject, Gibbs wouldn’t say he wouldn’t take the job; he simply kept repeating that he loves being press secretary. Gibbs also praised current DNC Chairman Tim Kaine’s performance.
