Less than two weeks after being shot in the head, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will move on Friday to the TIRR Memorial Hermann Rehab Hospital in Houston, Texas, according to her husband Mark Kelly. The latest update on her status had her standing with assistance. She has not yet spoken, though Kelly said she’s “made some attempts.” (She still has a tracheotomy, which inhibits her from speaking.) Kelly predicted that, within two months, she’ll return to Tucson to thank those who saved her life.
