Ordering gifts for any holiday, especially Valentine's Day, on Amazon doesn’t have to feel rushed or unplanned. The e-commerce behemoth carries a ton of smaller, indie brands that create gifts that are unique, elevated, and will impress anyone that receives them.
Having a writer as a partner is both a blessing and a curse (as one myself, I get it). They all have particular ways they like to write, and ways they don’t. But gifting a writer a new, pristine notebook is probably one of the easiest ways to win them over. You could go classic, and get them a gorgeous Moleskin, but there are other more aesthetically pleasing options on Amazon as well. Try this Lemome one that’s thick, sturdy, comes with a pen loop, and best of all, the ability to lay completely flat. Want something a little more design-y? There’s this pack of bold Marimekko notebooks.
If you’re the kind of couple that tends to take a lot of Instagram pictures, why not get a Polaroid that lets you keep them offline? The Polaroid Snap is an easy-to-use, compact instant camera that prints out any of your photos into bite-sized images that can be framed or stuck anywhere as a sticker. Another good option is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90, which looks more like a traditional point-and-shoot camera, but will still give you that instant satisfaction without having to send your film off to be developed.
Gifting chocolate on Valentine’s is so passé but sometimes, it’s nice to receive it. Amazon carries Seattle Chocolates and their trios like Dark Chocolate Truffle Bars with flavors like cherry and espresso, Milk Chocolate Truffle Bar with toffee and sea salt. They’re delicious and the packaging is gorgeous. If they’re not a chocolate-lover (they exist!), these gourmet marshmallows from OhNuts! are honestly almost too beautiful to be eaten, with flavors like Birthday Cake, Strawberry & Cream, Cinnamon Churro, and Mocha Latte.
Slippers are such a great gift for basically any holiday, birthday, anniversary, etc. It’s a great time to go overboard with comfort. These Old Friend Men's Slipper are 100% leather and are fully lined (and collared) in sheepskin. These look like the fuzziest thing you could ever put on your feet. If they want something a little less bulky and a little more house-shoe-like, the Acorn Women's Slouch Boot Slipper are what you’re gonna want to slip your feet into any day of the week.
Liquor is always a good gift, but only if your giftee has the right drinkware to enjoy it in. These whiskey glasses feature a hand blown “Mount Whiskey” that rests beneath the ocean of liquor you pour into them. Need something a bit sleeker? Aged & Ore’s double-walled glasses come with their own ice ball molds and will keep your drink cold and delicious. If you have a wine-drinker as a Valentine, this Villeroy & Boch set features four red wine glasses, four white wine glasses, and four Champagne glasses, so whatever vino they sip, they’ll have the right hardware for it.
