When Gingrich calls something “baloney,” you know he's serious. The former frontrunner, now neck-and-neck with Mitt Romney, lashed out at his opponent for a smear campaign that's been blanketing Iowa in negative ads. Romney earlier claimed that the ads came from super PACs he had nothing to do with. Gingrich called that claim “baloney” and insisted that he would not go negative. That promise doesn't go for pro-Romney PACs, however: "I think these guys hire consultants who get drunk, sit around and write stupid ads," Gingrich said when asked about a negative ad.
