Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani claims special counsel Robert Mueller has agreed to narrow the scope of a potential interview with the president from five topics to around two. Speaking on CNN’s New Day Friday morning, the former New York mayor also claimed that Mueller is not considering asking the president about his relationship with longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen, who’s under investigation over his business dealings. Giuliani said “the main focus we want is Russia,” referring to what he wants Trump to discuss with Mueller. Giuliani also appeared to roll back on claims that an FBI informant spied on the Trump campaign, saying: “I don’t know for sure, nor does the president, if there really was one.”
