Edward Snowden was elected Tuesday to the post of student rector at Glasgow University in Scotland. The rector position makes him the students' representative and its duties include bringing their concerns to management and helping administer university resources. We're guessing he can work remotely given the whole asylum in Russia thing. Snowden follows in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela's wife and others who have been rectors.
