The estranged father of Charice Pempengco, the 19-year-old singer who plays Sunshine Corazon on Glee, was stabbed to death with an ice pick in the Philippines, where he lives. The incident allegedly occurred when the man, Ricky Pempengco, accidentally bumped into a drunken stranger in a store; a manhunt is underway to find the killer. Charice—who gained infamy last year for using Botox at age 18—said on Twitter that she once had a “really great relationship” with her father and has canceled a Singapore concert to be with her family.
