Glee is singing its way out of Ohio and into Springfield for the 22nd season premiere of The Simpsons. In the episode, entitled “Elementary School Musical,” queen of the Gleeks, Rachel (played by Lea Michele), Finn (played by Cory Monteith), and Mercedes (played by Amber Riley) will be animated into campers at Lisa Simpson’s performing arts camp. Flight of the Concords stars Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie will also lend their voices to the episode, playing the roles of camp counselors in the episode, which airs on Sept. 26.
