Chris Colfer already won a Golden Globe for his performance as the formerly closeted Kurt on Glee, but now, he’s moving on. Twenty-year-old Colfer has penned a pilot for the Disney Channel called The Little Leftover Witch, based on Florence Laughlin’s children’s book of the same name. Colfer also wrote the indie feature Struck by Lightning, in which he will also star. Brian Dannelly (of Saved) is set to direct. The young actor plans to return to Glee for its third season in the fall.
