Former Glee star Mark Salling will not be charged with rape because the alleged victim waited too long to report the incident to police, the Los Angeles district attorney announced Monday afternoon. Because of a “four-year delay in reporting the alleged crime,” the D.A. said, the 34-year-old actor will not be prosecuted the incident with the victim, who was 22 at the time. According to the woman, Salling forced himself on her, even after being told that she was not ready for sexual intercourse. She alleged that, at one point during the rape, he told her he just needed “five more minutes” to finish. This is not the first accusation of sexual misconduct leveled against Salling. In 2015, settled a lawsuit with ex-girlfriend Roxanna Gorzela, who accused him of sexual battery after he reportedly forced her into sex without a condom. Salling was arrested later that same year for alleged possession of more than 100 images of child pornography inside his Los Angeles home. He pleaded not guilty to those charges.
