GM folds Pontiac, that symbol of American cool.

RIP

When GM announced this week that it would restructure and fold the Pontiac brand, most of America worried about the effect the changes would have on the economy. But the fashion set, is mourning the iconic Pontiac, that cross-generational symbol of American cool. Men’s Style pays homage to the 83-year-old car, remembering everything from the split-grill 1967 Firebird to the KITT (that 1982 Pontiac titled for its supercomputer), to the “worst-designed car of all time,” the 2001 Aztek. Pontiac, it’s been quite a ride.
