Australian golf legend Greg Norman almost chopped off his left hand during a chainsaw accident while cutting back trees at his Florida home. “Working with a chainsaw ALWAYS be respectful of the unexpected,” Norman, 59, wrote in the caption of a photo of him in a hospital bed that he posted on his Instagram Saturday. “I was one lucky man today. Damaged, but not down & out. Still have left hand.” The weight of the branch pulled Norman's hand forward as the chainsaw was going, but it fortunately missed his artery. “Thank God the blade wasn’t running full speed or it would have taken my hand off,” said Norman. The Hall of Fame golfer has earned 20 PGA Tour wins and two majors victories.
