The Internet company unveiled a new inbox for Gmail on Wednesday that promises to put users with information overload “back in control” by sorting and organizing messages into categories, like “social” or “promotional.” Fear not, though: people who don’t prefer an omniscient organizational hand in their mailbox can always switch back to the classic look. Google will roll out the new versions on desktop, Android, and iOS within the next few weeks.
