Coming soon to a living room near you: Google announced on Thursday that it has formed a deal with Intel and Sony to create Internet-connected televisions. The televisions will run web video and Android apps; Google TVs will have a search bar that will search cable listings, recordings, YouTube, and other video sources; a home screen will display the users’ favorite shows, channels, websites, etc. It will also have a web browser for viewing websites and photographs.
