Google debuted the Nexus One, its touchscreen handset, at a press-only event at its California headquarters Tuesday. It's the company's first entry into the smartphone market. Nexus One runs on the Google Android mobile operating system that allows users to use speech instead of text on emails, text messages, and Web searches. The phone will cost $180 with a two-year T-Mobile contract, or $530 for the unlocked version, and is available for purchase today.
