Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), the chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, said on Monday that President Donald Trump should not nominate his personal pilot to lead the Federal Aviation Administration. On Sunday, Axios reported that Trump was pushing his personal pilot, John Dunkin, for the role. “I’d prefer that they send somebody up that we can confirm easily. I’ve conveyed that to them,” Thune said, according to Politico. “I’m sure that the Democrats would probably want to make it challenging.”
