Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher met for three hours with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London where Assange lives. “Our three-hour meeting covered a wide array of issues, including the WikiLeaks exposure of the DNC emails during last year's presidential election,” Rohrabacher told The Hill. “Julian emphatically stated that the Russians were not involved in the hacking or disclosure of those emails.” The California congressman added that he will report back to President Trump. Assange has lived at the Ecuadorian embassy in London since 2012, and faces extradition to Sweden on sexual assault charges. Rohrabacher has been criticized for his pro-Russia views, and WikiLeaks has been accused of having connections to Russian hackers.
