Republican Alabama Senate nominee Roy Moore now trails 12 points behind Democratic rival Doug Jones, according to a new National Republican Senatorial Committee poll. The GOP poll, which had him leading Jones by 16 points in early October, comes after five women accused Moore of sexual misconduct when they were teenagers and he was in his 30s. Jones now leads Moore 51 to 39 percent, according to the survey. The NRSC withdrew its support for Moore's candidacy last week after The Washington Post published the first allegations against him. Several other Republican leaders have since withdrawn their endorsements and called for Moore to step aside.
