Rep. Peter King on Sunday accused CIA Director John Brennan of orchestrating a “hit job” on President-elect Donald Trump. King (R-NY) was responding to a question about a Washington Post report that the FBI and CIA agree that Russia hacked U.S. institutions to prop up Trump. He accused Brennan of leaking the information to the Post and The New York Times. “There should be an investigation of what the Russians did, but also an investigation of John Brennan and the hit job he seems to be orchestrating against the president-elect,” King said on ABC’s This Week, adding that he thinks Putin is “evil” but what Brennan did was “shameful.”
