Prime Minister Gordon Brown knows he's probably out—at the end of Thursday night's debate he acknowledged that "if things stay as they are," in a week "David Cameron, perhaps supported by Nick Clegg, would be in office." Polls after the debate put him in last place behind Conservative Cameron and Liberal Democrat Clegg. But hope springs eternal in the human breast and Brown has vowed to fight "to the last second." The Labour Party will unleash secret weapon and former Prime Minister Tony Blair to stump for Brown Friday and until the election next week. As Brown told supporters after the debate, "From now until next Thursday we have got to campaign like we have never campaigned before." Even then, it may not be enough.
