A New York grand jury on Wednesday indicted Pedro Hernandez, the man who confessed to killing six-year-old Etan Patz in 1979. He has been charged with murder and kidnapping, a source said. Hernandez’s attorney, Harvey Fishbein, claimed his client suffers from schizophrenia and hallucinations, and the entire case is based on the word of someone who is mentally ill.
