For allegedly supplying assault rifles to the attackers.

Enrique Marquez, the California man who allegedly supplied assault rifles to the San Bernardino shooters this month, was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on charges including conspiring to provide material support to terrorists. The 24-year-old allegedly gave the weapons to his friend Syed Rizwan Farook and Farook’s wife, Tasheen Malik, who together attacked a holiday party and killed 14 people in early December. Marquez is also accused of conspiring with Farook in 2011 and 2012 to support a terrorist attack that never materialized. The indictment accuses Marquez of making false statements to federal authorities and entering into a fake marriage with a member of Farook’s extended family.
