After much speculation, Barack Obama will introduce New Hampshire Republican Senator Judd Gregg as his Commerce Secretary nominee this morning. Democrats can stop drooling over fantasies of 60 Senate seats, however—New Hampshire’s Democratic governor, John Lynch, indicated yesterday that he’ll appoint a Republican to takeover Gregg’s seat, as Gregg had indicated he would not resign his seat if his replacement would tip the balance in the Senate.
